Welcome to our practice

We warmly welcome all our international patients. Our practice is located in Handschuhsheim, in the north of Heidelberg, directly at the tram stop Blumenthalstraße (lines 5 and 23). The whole team speaks English; Dr. Schwarz also speaks Spanish and Italian.

Whether you need a preventive check-up or treatment for an acute or chronic illness, we are happy to help. Thanks to continuous medical training and modern equipment we offer care at a high scientific standard.

Appointments

Please make an appointment before your visit, so we have enough time for you and you don't have to wait longer than necessary. The quickest way is to book online yourself – around the clock.

For repeat prescriptions, referrals and other requests, please use our online reception. You can also call us on +49 6221 4333998 or write to info@hausarzt-heidelberg.de. If our staff are busy, a digital phone assistant answers – it doesn't speak English yet, but just say “Please call me back” and we will return your call as soon as possible.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know in good time.

Practice open: Mon, Tue, Thu 7:30 am–6 pm · Wed 7:30 am–5 pm · Fri 7:30 am–3 pm

By phone: Mon–Fri 8:15 am–12 noon; Mon, Tue, Thu 3–5 pm; Wed 2–4 pm; Fri 1–2 pm

Two floors

Blood tests, vaccinations and injections take place on the first floor in the mornings, as do some consultations. The first-floor entrance is at Handschuhsheimer Landstraße 31. Please check in on the floor of your appointment. Both floors are step-free; there is a lift to the first floor.
